During any match, click Tactics & Subs > Analysis > cog icon > Show Opposition Analysis, to see the average positions of your team and the opposition's, along with a combined heat map of where the action is.

Most users will know that if you discuss a contract renewal with a player's agent before offering one, you can ask them to lower their demands.
Some may not realise that you can also ask the player themselves before entering the negotiation.

When building a tactic, don't just look at a player's Role and Duty and the overall Team Mentality, click in to Edit individual roles and consider the individual Mentality description of each player in your system.

Customise the thresholds that make attributes green or yellow in a player profile, based on the level you are managing at.
This can make scouting players by glancing at their attributes a lot quicker.

Instead of picking specific attribute ranges to target in Player Search, quickly select a role and hit Ok to potentially uncover extra targets you haven't seen before.

An old favourite of mine which is still super useful in FM23 is clicking on one of your player's Agents and seeing a quick list of all of their clients.
