My name is Adam. I write Football Manager stories, usually centred around a fictional persona.

Most recently that was Robert Vonsen, a German who had never coached before, but was eager to get started. Vonsen’s FM21 journeyman career has just finished, in my series Everywhere Else.

There is also Fernando ‘La Palanca’ Teixidó, a dogmatic Peruvian tactician with a strong affinity with the coaching innovators of the past. After managing The Strongest in Bolivia for a couple of years in FM20, he then moved to Rayo Vallecano for an exciting six year spell in FM21. His story starts in my series The Lever of La Paz and continued in the eleven posts of La Sombra.

In blog posts I often reference a fictional football news and analysis website named theangrylinesmen and their various (equally fictional) writers; including Jonathan Simpson, Tom Phillips, Anna Campbell, Carl Hagedorn and Alex Mellan.

My journeyman FM21 series Everywhere Else‘s final post (nine) is up now!
